"The Trip Effect"

Hello reader(s),
Every so often, you stumble upon a person whom has "The Trip Effect". Now, that person has gotten a gift. You know, that sort of gift that you think'll be great and wonderful and then suddenly you get a box of rotten chocolate, or coal. So this person has the ability to trip over anything. And I mean, ANYTHING. They are walking over an un-trippable surface, and then BOOM! There they are, hopelessly sprawled on the floor.  Admit it, you have all seen one. Now brace yourself for a plot twist, that person. Is. Me. I think I have had countless times as I slip and fall on ice, sidewalks, hallways etc. In fact lots of my friends know me as the person who can trip over anything. If you are one of those few people who trip and splat on the floor, I hear ya. The absolute worst part of this is, you have to be outstandingly tall. I am very tall for my age. Now reader I am going to tell you a story.

"The Trip Effect" A pitiful story by Monique Vigneault.
Lunch time. Winter. Snow. Ice. That is what comes to mind as I trip. I decided that it was a good idea to go for a walk off campus with my friends to the little candy store across the street. I was having a nice little walk, talking about whatever it is friends talk about as we approached the street. There it stood, this evil hunk of ice. Blotches of dirt and decay filled that beast of a thing, and I approached it. The light turned green for pedestrians, so me and my friends started to cross the street. And it happened. The tallest person in the whole group of people waiting by the light, collapses suddenly. My legs flew into the air and did some kind of a weird twirl. All that managed to come out of my mouth was : "Ooof."

After everyone saw my wonderful, ungratious fall, I gripped onto that stupid, awful  piece of crap and then it happened again! I fell! Again! This time my feet sliding to the side of the road. Luckily, the next time I was able to get up. So there you have it, the trip effect explained to you by yours truly.
Thanks for reading.
